Understanding what you even need is sometimes tough to figure out on your own.
There’s a term known in the development world known as “rubber duckying”. The term basically means that sometimes a developer can solve a complex issue by merely talking through it with someone else. It helps trigger solutions in the developers’ brain by talking the issue through.
Many people do not understand everything that goes into building a website. There are tons of things to think about, such as:
- What is your audience?
- What kind of design is going to captivate my audience?
- How are you going to update/maintain your website?
- Do you have a CRM?
- How big is your site?
- What are your goals for your website short-term? Long-term?
- Are you selling products or do you plan on doing that in the future?
Those are just some of the questions we try to answer. We listen, give advice where it’s warranted, and try to get a good understanding of what you need your website to do for you. Sometimes people do not even understand that themselves…that’s where rubber duckying comes in.
